MIND-BODY PRACTICES FOR SELF-REGULATION
Your body knows you are stressed before your mind catches up. In four hours, you will learn to read those signals, work with them, and build a personal practice that keeps you regulated -- not just in the session, but in the moments that actually matter.
Description
WHO THIS IS FOR
This course is for anyone who wants practical, body-based tools to manage stress at work. Whether you are a peer supporter who absorbs the weight of others, a Well-being Champion looking to expand your self-regulation toolkit, or simply someone who notices stress settling in the body before anywhere else, this is where you learn to work with it rather than push through it.
No prior training required. This is a physical workshop -- wear comfortable clothing.
WHAT YOU WILL WALK AWAY WITH
By the end of the session, you will be able to:
- Explain how thoughts, emotions, physiology, and behaviour interact under stress
- Recognise your own early warning signs of stress and emotional overload
- Apply evidence-based, non-clinical techniques including breathwork, mindful movement, and grounding practices
- Use perspective-taking as a self-regulation and emotional clarity tool
- Commit to at least one sustainable mind-body practice you can integrate into your daily work life
ABOUT THIS PROGRAMME
This is an experiential workshop. You will move, breathe, and practise -- not sit and listen. The techniques draw from neuroscience, cognitive-behavioural psychology, psychophysiology, mindfulness, and trauma-informed care, and are designed entirely for non-clinical, everyday use.
No diagnosis. No therapy. Just practical tools grounded in evidence and built for the workplace.
Delivered under Singapore's Well-being Champions Network (WCN), a national initiative supported by MOM, NTUC and SNEF, and powered by Kaleidoscope Labs.
ACCREDITATION AND ALIGNMENT
Aligned with Singapore's National Mental Health Competency Training Framework (Competencies 1--4, and 8 at foundational level), ISO 45003 and BS 30480.
